Located in Jeremy Ranch–a community known for access to outdoor recreation–this project offered the opportunity to rethink traditional mountain-town aesthetics while still allowing for maximum enjoyment of the great outdoors. The home’s layout was designed specifically with entertaining in mind; the living spaces and bedrooms fall on opposite wings of the structure, providing ample privacy and flexibility when hosting. Meanwhile, seamlessly connected outdoor seating areas offer additional gathering spaces during warmer months and ensure that occupants are never far from a peaceful perch and a breath of fresh mountain air. Finally, designated storage in the form of lockers just off of the garage keeps recreational gear out-of-site but ready to go for excursions of all kinds.
